Building a bridge over the Clyde… and into the future

SAD, bad and dangerous to know, the River Clyde was the source of Glasgow’s Victorian prosperity. But for the last 30 years it has been a thorn in the side, constantly undermining the city’s cultural confidence. Miraculously, Clydeside’s salvation may be close at hand, because earlier this week some of Britain’s greatest architectural minds were given their opportunity to battle it out for the right to spark the unlovable riverside back into life.
