From The Architect, October 30, 1875: Theses schools are being built upon a very limited area of ground, the whole of which is occupied by the building. The ground floor is appropriated to infants, the first-floor to girls, and the upper floor to the boys. Mr. R. Hesketh, F.R.I.B.A., is the architect.
