Architect: Herbert Gribble

0001

“This design was made some few years since for St. Joseph Catholic Church, Havant. The drawing calls for very few remarks, but the principal item in the conditions was that it should contain two statues, one of St. Joseph, and the other of the Blessed Virgin, and three panels portraying three events in the life of the former, the material used being Caen stone, and the execution was entrusted to the firm of Messrs. Farmer and Brindley, of Westminster- bridge-road, Lambeth. ” Front elevation, with section & plan of throne, as published in The Building News, September 30th 1881.
