As part of a ten-year plan to completely renovate the 600,000 sq.ft. Domestic Terminal Building, Kasian Kennedy has completed the redevelopment of the Arrivals Level, Departure Concourse, Retail Street, and Departure/Arrival Piers A & C. Total construction cost of the project is estimated at $100M.

The original building which was completely gutted dated from the 1960s. The work included new interior finishes and exterior treatment, integration of state-of-the-art information and communication technology, check-in and baggage handling systems, customer amenity planning and design; security, energy-efficient mechanical and electrical systems, emergency systems; signage and wayfinding, as well as seismic upgrade of the structure. The projects were phased and carried out without compromising passenger convenience, and without interruption of airline and retail operations. Approximately 15,000 passengers move through the airport on a daily basis.
