The second memorial lecture in honour of the late architect Peadar McQuillan will take place on Thursday 15 October at 7.30pm in the Dublin School of Architecture. The inaugural lecture was hosted at University of Liverpool School of Architecture in October 2008 and featured an excellent presentation by Tarla MacGabhann of the award-winning Donegal practice MacGabhann Architects.
This year Madrid-based architect Eduardo Arroyo, who is regarded as one of Europe’s most talented young architects, will present the work of his practice No.Mad Architects. As an individual of unquestionable talent who never tired of sharing his passion for architecture, it is hoped that this memorial lecture will ensure countless others benefit from Peadar’s generosity of spirit by celebrating the work of outstanding young architects producing challenging and inspiring architecture today.
