The former Central Bank building is sited at the end of Foster Place. Until recently the Bank of Ireland Art Centre, and afterwards a tawdry tourist attraction. A simple classical style, the building has an excellent vigourously sculpted coat of arms over the central entrance. In late 2016, planning permission was granted for redevelopment of this listed building with an office addition to the rear for the Irish Stock Exchange.
