Five buildings that occupy a central place in Dublin’s architectural landscape will be explored through interviews and visits in a new radio series entitled ‘Pillars of Society’. Produced by Monica Harkin, the 15-min programmes will be broadcast on the digital station RTE Choice every Tuesday at 11.45am from 1 February. The five buildings are the Central Bank of Ireland (1 Feb), the Iveagh Trust Buildings (8 Feb), the Berkeley Library (15 Feb), the Criminal Courts of Justice (22 Feb) and the Green Building in Temple Bar (1 March). Each building is explored through a conversation with the architect involved in the project or with the building occupant in interview with Sandra O’Connell.
