Considered one of the finest examples of modernist architecture in the city, this brick-and-glass structure incorporates some of the same design elements used in the Barcelona Pavilion. The modernist design and modest size are in stark contrast with many of the other larger, heritage buildings in the Exchange District. The building has a fully enclosed courtyard to the rear. In 2011, Number 10 Architects were commissioned to modernize the building but respect the original design elements.
