Published from The Roadstone book of House Designs, produced in 1980. Billed as “A guide to building your own home with 25 new house designs by Reg Chandler, Des Doyle, Arthur Gibney, Ray MacDonnell, and Allan O’Regan. Described as “a two-storey house which borrows from the tradition of including the top story in the expansive roof… This symmetrical house with its interesting tall chimneys has a satisfying individual appearance. Inside, its windows are carefully disposed to provide maximum light and viewpoint and the bay window in the master bedroom on the first floor makes the most of the early morning sun. The house is built in traditional Irish materials and its attractive bright finish in white-painted rendered blocks contrasts with the Trutone slates.
