2008 – AIB Bankcentre, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Architects: RKD Architects

The new AIB building is located adjacent to the existing buildings built in the 1970’s at Bank Centre. The building had to incorporate the existing campus and provide a new building that, internally and externally, projects an image which is contemporary and forward looking to support the AIB brand and business into the future. The brief for the 36,000 sq.m. building required provision for office accommodation to effectively double the population of Bank Centre from 2,000 to over 4,000 employees. The brief also required a new kitchen, restaurant, private dining suite, boardroom, executive offices and linkages to the existing buildings.
