Daniel Libeskind appointed as Honorary Patron of PLACE

logo-artscouncilirelandPLACE was established in 2004 by the Royal Society of Ulster Architects (RSUA), Belfast City Council, Arts Council of Northern Ireland and a dedicated and passionate team of built environment professionals and enthusiasts. PLACE is becoming a new independent organisation and is delighted to announce that Daniel Libeskind has been appointed Honorary Patron of the new PLACE.

“Such is our growing worldwide reputation that when I invited Daniel Libeskind to be our honorary patron he immediately accepted,” said PLACE Chair Bill Morrison.

“What could be more important than an organisation devoted to involving the public in the design of cities and architecture in order to create a more humanistic, just and beautiful environment?” – Daniel Libeskind on his appointment as Honorary Patron of PLACE.
