Since its publication as a book in 2001, “See Dublin on Foot” has become the essential companion to city visitors interested in exploring the marvellous built heritage of our capital city. Now, Dublin Civic Trust is delighted to announce “See Dublin on Foot – The App” – opening up this definitive guide to a whole new audience of smartphone users.

See Dublin on Foot – The App will include over 300 new and updated entries, a series of stunning images for each of the city’s sites and attractions, themed tours of the city, inbuilt GPS mapping to aid navigation and legibility and links to other websites and information pages.

“See Dublin on Foot – the App” will dramatically add to the visitor experience of the city, providing a modern high quality product that celebrates one of the key characteristics of our capital city – its architectural heritage.

The App goes live in the AppStore on 29th November 2011
