Designed by by the Architectural Iron Works of New York. Described as “Elevation of front of a portion of building built for Alex. Lloyd and J. Q. Jones, Chicago” in the illustrated brochure Illustrations of iron architecture, made by the Architectural Iron Works of the city of New York (1865).
