logo_simonopendoorThe Simon Communities of Ireland has announced that the RIAI Simon Open Door initiative is taking place this year on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th May 2012. The RIAI & the Simon Communities of Ireland have again joined forces whereby participating RIAI Members around Ireland will open their offices to give members of the public an hour’s consultation with an Architect in return for a donation to Simon of €50.

This is the eighth year that the Simon Communities of Ireland has partnered with the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland. Over the course of this wonderful partnership almost €265,000 has been raised for the Simon Communities of Ireland.

Since 2005, the Simon Open Door initiative has been a permanent fixture in the calendar of RIAI Architects who, on this day offer their time and expertise to members of the public. Every single cent raised goes towards the work of the Simon Communities of Ireland.
