7 firms feature in RHA Annual Exhibition

The work of seven architectural practices is featured in this year’s 182nd RHA Annual Exhibition, which opens on 28 May 2012. The practices showing in the show are: Grafton Architects; Hassett Ducatez Architects; PAC Studio; ABGC Architects; GKMP Architects; LOTUS Architects; LID Architecture. This is the second year in a row that RHA President and architect, Des McMahon has put a focus on emerging practice. There will be a themed evening with an architectural discussion where the participants shall talk to each other around their work at 6pm on 1 August 2012.

The RHA Annual Exhibition is the longest running open submission exhibition in Ireland. With over half the works, exhibited, selected through an open submission process, this exhibition offers an unparalleled chance to view work by emerging artists hanging side by side with established artists and RHA Members.

“The highlights of the RHA’s ever-growing cultural significance is reflected in our exhibition programme and the Academy’s dual aspiration of promoting tradition and innovation is reflected in the painting, sculpture, print, photography and architectural contents of this exhibition”, says RHA President Des McMahon.
