Booking has opened for a forthcoming talk by Danish architect Dan Stubbergaard, the fourth in the NEWNOWNEXT free architectural talks series featuring current and next generation architects from across the globe. The talks are all free to the public, to shine a spotlight on great architecture from around the world and here at home
The NEWNOWNEXT series continues on Thursday September 5 with Danish architect Dan Stubbergaard, of COBE Architects in Copenhagen, will speak at the Innovation Academy, Foster Place, Dublin 2 at 6.30pm. Founded in 2005 by Dan Stubbergaard and Vanessa Miriam Carlow, COBE (whose name is derived from the cities in which they are based: Copenhagen and Berlin) is a progressive, contemporary community of architects that focuses on sustainability and design. Although a very young practice, they quickly gained an innovative reputation, winning a number of high profile projects and prizes, including the Golden Lion of the 10th Venice Architecture Biennale in 2006 and Scandinavia’s prestigious Nykredit Architecture Prize in 2012.
