A few recent photos of external progress of the new federally funded Museum for Human Rights. Constructed at The Forks in Winnipeg, and designed by Antoine Predock, and due for completion in 2014. Exterior work is largely complete with landscaping underway, while work continues on internal fit-out.

Predock describes it, “Carved into the earth and dissolving into the sky on the Winnipeg horizon, the abstract ephemeral wings of a white dove embrace a mythic stone mountain of 450 million year old Tyndall limestone in the creation of a unifying and timeless landmark for all nations and cultures of the world.”
