The Irish Georgian Society has assembled a team of leading conservation experts to deliver a conservation course on the understanding and care of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown’s period and traditionally built houses. A certificate of attendance will be issued on completion of the 6-week course, which comprises 12 lectures & an optional architectural walking tour.

Aimed at the owners and guardians of the many period houses located in the county, the course will provide an understanding and appreciation of the significance of these houses and practical information on their care and conservation. Lectures are delivered by the leading authorities on the subject and will be followed by question and answers sessions.

Homeowners are encouraged to bring photographs of their houses in order to attain more personal conservation advice. Lectures, which will start on Tuesday 23 September from 7.00pm – 9.30pm, will be held in the Royal St. George Yacht Club, Dún Laoghaire Harbour.
