Open House Dublin celebrating 10 years

The theme of 10th annual Open House Dublin weekend is This Place We Call Home and is focusing on home, housing, domesticity and urban space. Open House Dublin 2015 is funded by the Government Policy on Architecture, Dublin City Council and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.

One of the many buildings featured in this year’s programme is the Airbnb European Hub in Ringsend, by Heneghan Peng Architects. Heneghan Peng have also included the 12-metre long bench it designed for Ireland’s Venice Architectural Biennale pavilion in 2012, which dips and rises as users sit on different sections.

Open House Dublin 2015 programme available from mid September. Most building tours are open on a first-come, first-served basis. There are NO pre-book tours this year, but a small number of building tours will be available to book on a lottery basis, details in September.
