Open House Dublin “Text to Donate” to Peter McVerry Trust

logo_dublin-openhouseWith over 6,610 people homeless in Ireland, and almost 5,000 in Dublin alone, Open House Dublin 2016 is collaborating with Peter McVerry Trust, the homeless and housing charity, by offering ALL proceeds of their Open House Dublin “Text to Donate” button to the cause between the 2016 programme launch on Sept 9th and October 16th. To donate, you just text OHD to 50300 to give €4 to the charity.*

Pat Doyle, CEO of Peter McVerry Trust, said “We are delighted to partner with the IAF on Open House Dublin 2016. Peter McVerry Trust is acutely aware of the positive impact that quality architecture and urban design can have on society. As an organisation that strives to provide the best quality accommodation for people exiting homelessness we are very happy to be associated with Open House Dublin which brings a welcome focus to quality architecture and design.”

The theme for the 2016 annual architecture celebration OPEN HOUSE DUBLIN, when buildings of all types and periods open their doors for citizens and visitors to explore, is The Presence of the Past.

To donate to Peter McVerry Trust, text OHD to 50300.
Text costs €4. Peter McVerry Trust will receive a minimum of €3.25. (100% of text cost goes to Peter McVerry Trust across most networks. Some providers apply VAT which means that a minimum of €3.25 goes to the charity). Service provider: LikeCharity. Helpline: 076 6805278.

It will also be possible to donate to Peter McVerry Trust in person during Open House Dublin weekend itself: watch out for donation boxes at a number of tour locations.
