Excerpt from the brief: Dublin Corporation as part of its O’Connell Street Integrated Area Plan is seeking the design of a range of retail vending and information kiosks and public conveniences to be located in O’Connell St as part of the overall upgrading of the street. To this end it proposes a two stage design competition for the kiosks. (O’Connell Street Integrated Area Plan.)
The Integrated Area Plan proposes through a comprehensive series of interventions to improve the physical, social, infrastructural and economic environment of O’Connell St and its immediate surrounding areas.
