“THIS illustration, from the current exhibition at the Royal Academy, is of a drawing by Mr. F.L. Griggs, of a house recently erected at Walton-on-Thames, from designs by Messrs. Niven and Wigglesworth. A feature is made of the regular bay window treatment ; the bays being enriched by modelled cement, and surmounted by ornamental lead gutters.”Published in The Building News, June 16th 1899.
