1902 – St. Edward’s Church and Vicarage, Barnsley, Yorkshire
Architect: Goodwin Packer
Designed by architect Goodwin Simpson Packer and built in 1902 by Edward George Lancaster in memory of his father. The vicarage next to the church was used as an auxiliary hospital during the Great War. The war memorial inside the church records that 562 men received treatment there, and the whole cost was paid by Edward George Lancaster of Keresforth Hall, Barnsley.
