Former Limerick city courthouse that was extended to designs by Joseph P. O’Malley in 1907 by adding a second floor to provide four new classrooms.
Demolished, the stonework from around the main entrance has been reused on a building on the same site.
Competition entry to design a new Roman Catholic Church for Timoleague. Exhibited at RHA.
Library funded by donation from Andrew Carnegie, and constructed after an architectural competition. Sheridan’s design was actually placed second by the assessor G.C.
Unusually designed buildings along Pearse Square dating from 1908 which show some Art Nouveau influences yet with the incredibly narrow facades resemble buildings from Amsterdam canal-banks.
Fine imposing building looking down Pearse Square from Patrick Street. Has changed little from old postcards yet seems strangely unloved and uncared for.
Around 1900, working on a commission from local landowner Lord Monteagle, Francis Inigo Thomas designed a Market Square for Foynes,
Fine early twentieth century bank building with a wonderful curving corner entranceway. Extended, 1922, comprising single-bay three-storey end bay to east taking away the symmetry of the design.
The Church of the Sacred Heart was built in an imposing Gothic Revival style in 1907-1911 on the site of an earlier 19th century chapel.
