Anyone know a company who does sun tubes which can bring light horizontally through a building into its centre. I have seen a website about such a product but cant remember where it was. I think they work with fibre optics as opposed to aluminium foil as per your bog standard Velux sun-pipe.

      any advice would be appreciated.

There are plenty of suppliers in Ireland as in the two above.
The velux one looks good as it has proper glazing/insulation where some of the products seem to have a plastic bubble at the top which would let the heat escape from your home.
I’ve never seen fiber optic ones, I assume they are supposed to bring more light in and allow the tube to be bent around corners? Is that what you need to do?

Oh wow they do exist! And they are cool
I like the idea of lighting subway stations with sunlight via fiber optics! Genius!
