Smithfield Art Tunnel

This is an innovative project that is garnering a lot of public support. A proposed oasis of an urban garden on a well known derelict site that neither the city authorities or the RPA have seen fit to act on during or since the Luas was planned and constructed. Needless to say, it takes interested locals and creative heads to pull things together. This is not even a recession project – it’s cleaning up the mess from the lack of joined-up thinking of the boom era.

The Fundit campaign has almost reached its target, but needs a bit of a boost to make the cut in a weeks’ time. Well worth supporting.
