      Did any of you see this? As an non-architect, I loved it. The TV high point of the week for me. It was so enligtening – especially discussion of Romanesque & Gothic architecture and the ‘Truth of/in Materials’ element of the Arts and crafts movement; Lutyens etc…

      I hope they repeat it. Makers of Nation Building please take note!

      Please give me more great Television like this!!!

      An excellent series, the last episode on modernism was a nice introduction to modern architecture for the uniniatated.

      Well worth watching, and as usual for a UK production, it looked woinderful.

      Yes missed one episode being away but very good, especially the last episode.

      A useful contrast with some other TV series on architecture, including that recently on RTE.
