Bellarena railway station opened on 18 July 1853. It was closed for goods traffic from 4 January 1965.

Sage Residential College was built in 1875 at Cornell University’s Ithaca, New York campus as a residential building.

Orginally built in 1875 with some minor additions in 1879 for Scottish Widows, this was for many years a bank branch of AIB.
