1870s – Benn Hospital, Clifton Street, Belfast On the corner of Glenravel and Clifton Streets in Belfast, and constructed as a Eye, Ear, and Throat hospital, but known after its benefactors George and Edward Benn.
1878 – Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, Queen St., Belfast Architect: Thomas Jackson & Sons A three-storey building finished in Scrabo sandstone set back from the main building line of Queen Street.
1900 – Mater Infirmorum Hospital, Crumlin Rd., Belfast Architect: William J. Fennell The Mater Infirmorum (Mother of the Sick) Hospital was founded by the Sisters of Mercy but has always treated patients without regard to class or creed.
