14th C. – Dalkey Castles, Co. Dublin Dalkey’s main street, Castle Street, has a two 14th Century Norman castles. The first one is known as Goat’s Castle and has been used as the Town Hall since 1869.

1843 – Loreto Abbey, Dalkey, Co. Dublin Founded in 1841 by Frances Teresa Ball (1794-1861), a native of Dublin. Her first foundation was at Rathfarnham and was called Loreto Abbey,
1847 – Inniscorrig, Dalkey, Co. Dublin Tudor-style house built in a robust asymmetrical design overlooking Dublin bay. The house was built in 1847 by a very wealthy Dublin physician named Sir Dominic Corrigan,
1870 – Gatelodge and School, Dalkey, Co. Dublin Architect: E.H. Carson Combined gate-house and school building for St. Patrick’s Church of Ireland in Dalkey. Still standing today although missing the top of the small tower.
