The Ussher Library is sited between the Berekely Library and Nassau Street with the park and the Arts Block on either side.

A further extension to the earlier building by Grafton Architects, completed in 1996, the Mechanical Engineering Building now features a raised podium with an opening around a pre-existing tree.
Occupying an irregular shaped plot bounded by the elevated railway line, the Naughton Institute contains research labs and a sports centre for the use of students.
The building has been designed to accommodate a team working on the digitisation of the treasures of Trinity’s Old Library: a vital component of the plan to open the significant Manuscript and Early Printed Books collections of the Library to the world.
