Exhibition of Contemporary Landscape Architecture to open in Dublin

logo_iliTo celebrate World Landscape Architecture Month, the Irish Landscape Institute (ILI) will be hosting An Exhibition of Contemporary Landscape Architecture in Ireland. The exhibition will run from April 21st-25th and April 28th – May 2nd, in the Atrium of Dublin City Council, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin.

The exhibition aims to showcase the best of landscape design, managment, research and innovation within Ireland over the past 10 years. Highlights of the exhibit will be Father Collins Park and the competition winning entry to the Adamstown Parks competition by Foley Salles. The exhibition will also include displays of ILI Design Award winning projects from the previous 10 years, including; Henry St in Dublin, Eyre Sq in Galway and John Roberts Square in Waterford City.

It is now confirmed that Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government; John Gormley will launch the exhibit at a reception on Tuesday April 22nd at 6.30pm.

The Irish Landscape Institute is the professional body representing landscape architects in Ireland and has a membership of over 160 working in private practice, local authorities, public sector bodies and third level institutions.
