1827 – Charlemont Place, Armagh, Co. Armagh
Architect: William Murray

Alongside the Mall, where there are several fine terraces of house, Charlemont Place stands out. Set back from the streetline of the other houses, Charlemont Place is large terrace of five houses. With good ironwork and detailing, this is one of the best Georgian terraces in Ireland outside of Dublin. Indeed with its stone finish, its closer to the Georgian terraces of Edinburgh’s New Town than Dublin. Now externally restored and used by the local education and library board.
