Gracelands – Saturday 26th September, Leitrim

Gracelands takes place on the grounds of the Mimetic House, Dromahair Co. Leitrim designed by architect Dominic Stevens. Gracelands, now in it’s second year, is curated by Vaari Claffey and co-produced by the Model Niland Gallery, and takes place on the afternoon and evening of Saturday the 26th. The 2009 theme is Folly referring to acts of madness, architectural conversation pieces, and theatrical presentations. The event includes readings and performances, sound works, and film, all presented in a friendly outdoor festival atmosphere. The viewing platforms and site for the performances are designed especially for the event by Dominic Stevens.

There are over 30 participants presenting on the night including Dominic Stevens, Gerard Byrne, Bea McMahon, Dennis McNulty, Isabel Nolan, Grace Weir, Walker and Walker and Padraic Moore.
