2009 – Tower Proposal, North Wall Quay, Dublin

A proposal by Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP for a new tower on North Wall Quay. At a design stage, which never seems to have been developed any further, it would have been up to 130 metres in height. Angular in appearance, the two forks of the tower lean in opposite directions to each other, this with the angled facades lends movement to the tower and from a distance makes it appear to almost lean out over the river in what’s almost a geometric prismatic manner.
