“The accompanying illustration represents the front view of a residence which has just been erected at Sutton Coldfield. The materials used wore local bricks, with best pressed red bank bricks for sills and string-courses and chimney caps. The roofs are covered with Broseley tiles. The architect was Mr. R.S. Oldacre, Birmingham.” Published in The Building News, July 22 1898.
