The Forum Cinema opened on 20 November 1937 and closed on 28 January 1967 – a very short lifespan. The building like many others featured commercial space flanking its main entrance foyer – in this case in the form of two small pavilions For some years the building has been used as a social club. The main facade has been demolished but the auditorium to the rear is in use as a social club.
