http://www.environ.ie/en/Publications/DevelopmentandHousing/Planning/FileDownLoad,1586,en.pdfRules state that the max height is 4m for a pitched roof and 3m for other types. Can the requirement for a pitched roof include mono-pitched roofs? -as in simply sloping from one side of the building to the other? like the last pic in this link…..

………..as opposed to the more common type as shown in the first pic in link. – a centre ridge sloping down to two side walls.
Also…. howabout a small A-frame building? Any opinions on whether this would comply for exempt planning in terms of being a “pitched roof”?
