I am researching South King Street in the 1970s – in particular looking at the shops there at the time, as well as the Dandelion Market and Gaiety Green. I’m also hoping to conduct interviews with people who frequented the street/worked on the street/consumed on the street. If anyone has suggestions, photographs, memories I would really appreciate your input. Many thanks, Ciara

      Huuuuuuaaaaaayyyyy!

High time someone brought up the Dandelion Market and the sacrilege that was its closing.
Great place to get real leather shoes, cowboy boots and jackets. Loads of jeans, cheesecloth shirts, printed T-shirts and posters for the bedsit wall.
