1868 – Elm Ridge, Darlington, Durham Architect: G.G. Hoskins A private home until it became a Methodist church in the 1930s, which it still is to this day.
1870 – Backhouse & Co., Bank, Sunderland Architect: G.G. Hoskins Backhouse’s Bank merged in 1896 with Gurney’s Bank of Norwich and Barclays of London to form what is now Barclays Bank.
1875 – Grammar School, Darlington, Durham Architect: George Gordon Hoskins Now the location for the Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College which was established in 1970 on the site of the old Queen Elizabeth Grammar School.
