Newenham Mulligan & Associates / Grimshaw Architects to redesign the Curragh Racecourse

A consortium of two architect firms, international practice Grimshaw Architects and Limerick based Newenham Mulligan has won the international Architectural Competition to produce a concept design for the redevelopment of the Curragh Racecourse.

Designed in the 1950s by the same firm of architects (NMA), half of the store was built in the 1960s and the other half in the 1970s.

Work to build mixed-use scheme on Player Wills site to start in 2009

Up to 500 residential units are included in the planned Players Square, a mixed-use redevelopment of the former Player Wills and Bailey Gibson sites on the South Circular Road in Dublin 8.
