1885 – Beecham’s Pills New Manufactory, St. Helens, Lancashire Architect: H.V. Krolow Thomas Beecham, born in Oxfordshire in 1820, began selling his pills and cures as a travelling salesman in the 1840s.
1920 – St. Mary’s Church, St. Helens, Lancashire Architect: W.D. Caroe Unbuilt design for St Mary’s Lowe Church in St. Helens. Caroe did design the completed church but with the exception of upper parts of the tower,
1963 – Pilkington, St. Helens, Lancashire Architect: Fry Drew The distinctive blue Pilkington Head Office, a Grade II listed building constructed in 1959-63 designed by Maxwell Fry and his wife Jane Drew.
